When we first moved to St. Prex, Switzerland, a colleague of mine told me ‘it’s always sunny in St. Prex.’ I agree, except when it’s not. Nestled on lake Geneva and in between the Alps, clouds often loom as they try to make their way back up to open skies. We were unbelievably lucky to live where we did for nearly six years, having the view of the mountains and the lake every time we left home is something that eternally brought me peace. Moments like these were always a reminder of hope. Even when the clouds descend and darkness looms, there is brightness and immense beauty on the other side. Grace, indeed, does abound.
